By downloading, installing, or using YuMi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

YuMi is a mobile application designed to help couples stay connected by:

• Allowing one partner ("her") to track menstrual cycles
• Sharing cycle phase information with a linked partner ("him")
• Facilitating communication through mood updates and request systems
• Providing personalized recommendations based on cycle phases
• Gamifying supportive behaviors through a points system

3. Eligibility

To use YuMi, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Partner Linking

YuMi allows you to link with one partner at a time. By linking:

• You consent to sharing relevant information with your linked partner
• You can unlink at any time, which revokes partner access to your data
• You are responsible for sharing link codes only with intended partners

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person through the App
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Use the App to transmit malware or harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Scrape, data mine, or collect user information without consent
• Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization

7. Health Disclaimer

The cycle tracking and predictions provided by YuMi are:

• For informational and relationship enhancement purposes only
• Based on general algorithms and user-provided data
• Not a substitute for professional medical advice
• Not guaranteed to be accurate

Always consult a healthcare provider for medical concerns, family planning, or health-related decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of YuMi, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by YuMi and protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (requests, mood updates, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a license to use, store, and process this content to provide the service.

You are solely responsible for your content and must ensure it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or harass other users

You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or harmful components
• The results of using the App will be accurate or reliable

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YUMI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Personal injury
• Property damage

ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YuMi and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
